Our Commitment

Everyone Is Welcome Here

Because education and collaboration are at the heart of the RISC-V International ecosystem, we want everyone who joins us to feel valued and safe. Our community is open to all, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or economic status.

To maintain this inclusive environment, our Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect from our members, alongside the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

Support to Attend

Scholarships & Travel Funding

To foster a diverse and inclusive community at our conferences, we proudly offer diversity and need-based scholarships, discounted registration, and travel funding.

At the Event

Onsite Resources

Nursing Room

We will be providing a private nursing room to aid in the comfort and accessibility of our nursing attendees. The Bay Level Private Office, located on the Bay Level, has been reserved for this purpose and will be available all days of the event. For access or any questions, please check with registration or information desk staff onsite.

Reserved Seating

We offer reserved accessible seating at every session. If you need any assistance, please email [email protected] before the event, or while onsite, please reach out to a staff member.

Venue Accessibility

For help finding an elevator or for any other onsite accessibility questions, please see a RISC-V International staff member at the registration or information desks. If you have questions before the event, email [email protected].

Wheelchair & Medical Equipment Rental

If you need a wheelchair or scooter, you can rent them from Cloud of Goods. Please contact them directly for rates and availability.

Communication Stickers

To help everyone feel comfortable, we offer badge stickers at Registration that indicate your preferred level of interaction. Green: I'm open to chatting! Yellow: I prefer to only speak with people I already know. Red: Please give me space (no interaction, photography, or video). We kindly ask that all attendees respect these personal boundaries.

Share Your Pronouns

To help foster a welcoming environment, pronoun stickers are available at registration. Please feel free to add one to your badge, and always be mindful and respectful of the pronouns used by your fellow attendees.

All-Gender Restrooms

Certain restrooms will be designated as all-gender facilities to accommodate the comfort and preferences of all attendees.

First Aid & Medical Assistance

For first aid or general medical help, please head to the registration desk or the venue's front desk. In the event of an emergency, dial 911 immediately.

Reporting

How to Handle a Harassment Report

If you experience or witness harassment, or have any other safety concerns, please contact event staff immediately. Staff can be found at the registration counter at any time and are identifiable by their official badges and shirts.

Pre-Event Concerns

If you plan to attend but have safety concerns regarding another expected attendee, please contact us before the event. We will take proactive precautions to ensure your comfort and safety. Accommodations may include providing a personal escort, briefing onsite staff, preventing scheduling overlaps at talks or social events, and supplying direct phone numbers for immediate onsite support.
